We are excited to announce a new project, renewed mission, and intentional vision for Quran and Islamic Studies at SRVIC! Tanzil Academy of Sacred Knowledge, also referred to as “TASK” is a SRVIC-based initiative, focusing on the youth of the Tri-Valley area. We welcome suggestions and involvement from community members to create a transparent, cohesive, and efficient program for the youth of our community.

Tanzil Academy of Sacred Knowledge offers Three distinct levels of programming: Ilqa, Tarteel, & Tahfidh have been carefully designed to allow students from as young as 5.5 yrs old with basic Quranic knowledge to start on their journey to reading, memorizing, and understanding the Quran.
Our goal is to transmit the knowledge of Al-Islam in a holistic and fun environment, to educate them on the Dos and Don’ts, the contemporary issues of today, the morals and conduct of life and its relationships, and much more; thereby allowing each child to maximize their potential in both this world and the Hereafter InshaAllah!
Ilqa' Ages 5-8
- 45 minutes Qaidah Instruction/Reading from Mushaf.
- 20 minutes of oral group memorization from Juz Amma.
- 15 minutes of Islamic education
Tarteel Ages 7+
- 20 minutes Reading from Mushaf/Tajweed Lessons.
- 80 minutes of group memorization and review.
- 20 minutes of Islamic education
Tahfidh Ages 12+
- 10 minutes Reading from Mushaf/Tajweed Lessons.
- 90 minutes of independent memorization.
- 20 minutes of Islamic education
